Job Description

An opportunity is available for a CT Technologist specializing in computed tomography imaging. This contract role centers on performing advanced CT scanning procedures in a well-equipped acute care environment. The position is ideal for candidates with a minimum of two years experience and applicable certifications.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
  • Current BLS certification
  • Skilled in peripheral IV starts, venous and arterial phase scanning, and multi-phase imaging
  • Experience with stroke imaging, including perfusion studies, and colorectal imaging
  • Familiarity with TeraRecon software is preferred
  • Background as a CT/PET Tech or Radiologic Technologist with X-ray expertise

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct CT scans including invasive CT-guided procedures
  • Work across emergency, inpatient, observation, and outpatient patient populations
  • Support cardiac CT imaging performed daily
  • Collaborate with radiology nursing and use department-specific technology, including Siemens CT scanners and Philips iSite PACS
  • Maintain compliance with departmental protocols and contribute to quality patient care
  • Utilize electronic medical records systems such as EPIC and RIS (Epic Radiant)

Work Schedule:

  • Night shift hours, approximately 10 hours per shift
  • Specific shifts include Thursday 1700-0530 and Friday through Sunday 2100-0630
  • On-call duties required 2-3 shifts per month
  • Holiday coverage for approximately 75% of scheduled holidays
