Overview

Under the supervison of the radiologist, this position provides patients with various types of CT procedures.

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)

  • *Performs CT procedures.
  • *Obtains guidance from the radiologist when order appears unclear or inappropriate.
  • *Obtains pertinent histories and explains exam results to patient.
  • *Procures results on Stat exams and calls results.
  • Answers all phone calls and schedules special procedures.
  • Maintains work area and equipment.
  • Helps to train and orientate new staff and students to job functions.
