Level 2 Cable Technician – IES Communications
Location: Microsoft Stream Data Center – Goodyear, AZ
Employment Type: Contract‑to‑Hire
Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 10‑hour shifts (Start time: 5:00 AM)
Position Overview
IES Communications is seeking experienced Level 2 Cable Technicians to support low-voltage and data center infrastructure work at a major Microsoft data center in Goodyear, Arizona. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership ability, and the capability to perform installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems. Technicians will also assist in guiding small teams and ensuring all work meets IES quality and safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesCabling & Infrastructure Installation
+ Pull, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 and fiber optic cabling.
+ Install work‑area outlets, modular furniture outlets, and wall-mounted boxes.
