Job Description

  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing them following food safety guidelines.
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables for use in meals and garnishes.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to standardized recipes.
  • Cook hot and cold foods in accordance with recipes, quality standards, and presentation expectations.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, and microwaves safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor food quality and test for doneness to ensure it meets internal standards.
  • Set up and break down assigned workstations before and after service.
  • Serve food accurately in proper portions using correct plating techniques.
  • Sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, tools, knives, and tables regularly.
