Reporting to: Departmental Supervisor
Responsibilities
General
- Perform routine cleaning tasks across multiple departments, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and emptying trash/recycling
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of public areas, offices, restrooms, fixtures, kitchens, and department- specific spaces
- Assist with cleaning and takedown of rooms for events, programs, or meetings
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or repair needs to supervisors
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment and chemicals according to guidelines
- Support staff in multiple departments as needed, responding to requests for cleaning or general assistance
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, occupational health and safety standards, and relevant regulations
