Custodian (G2)

The Porter County Public Library System is seeking a part-time cleaning and maintenance professional to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining our facilities in a clean and orderly manner. You will work closely with other team members to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.

The facilities specialist (G2) must satisfy the following responsibilities:

• Carry out entry-level maintenance support such as painting, lawn care, and snow removal for routine and occasional facility care needs.
• Perform detailed and deep cleaning as directed.
• Deliver or support library services directly and indirectly, as needed.
• Greet patrons as they arrive and depart from the library.
