Job Description & Requirements
- Liaise with clients/carriers/transporters/agents to execute import and export shipments (Sea/Air).
- Ensure execution of client requests/requirements and respond to their service issues/enquiries.
- Generate booking confirmations, Bill of Ladings and invoices to clients.
- Ensure that all jobs are monitored, costs, selling figures are accurately & timely updated in system.
- Handle shipping documentation (import / export / BL / documentation / DG application / permit declaration).
- Experience in handling Portnet and Trade net usage.
- Handling of phone/ email enquiries and bookings. Provide quotation to the customer.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders for co-ordination and problem solving.
- Any other Ad hoc duties when required.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast changing and demanding environment.
- Self-discipline, initiative, responsible and independent.
- A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Meticulous to details.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Able to work Overtime (Month end closing)
- Min 1 - 2 years of experience in Sea freight (Container Shipping) and familiar with import and export process.
- Fresh Graduates are also welcome.
- On-Job-Training / Related Job Courses can be provided for suitable candidates who have the right attitude but lacking the correct experience.
- Remuneration will be based on experience.
