Job Description & Requirements

  • Liaise with clients/carriers/transporters/agents to execute import and export shipments (Sea/Air).
  • Ensure execution of client requests/requirements and respond to their service issues/enquiries.
  • Generate booking confirmations, Bill of Ladings and invoices to clients.
  • Ensure that all jobs are monitored, costs, selling figures are accurately & timely updated in system.
  • Handle shipping documentation (import / export / BL / documentation / DG application / permit declaration).
  • Experience in handling Portnet and Trade net usage.
  • Handling of phone/ email enquiries and bookings. Provide quotation to the customer.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for co-ordination and problem solving.
  • Any other Ad hoc duties when required.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast changing and demanding environment.
  • Self-discipline, initiative, responsible and independent.
  • A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Meticulous to details.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Able to work Overtime (Month end closing)
  • Min 1 - 2 years of experience in Sea freight (Container Shipping) and familiar with import and export process.
  • Fresh Graduates are also welcome.
  • On-Job-Training / Related Job Courses can be provided for suitable candidates who have the right attitude but lacking the correct experience.
  • Remuneration will be based on experience.
