Job Description
Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering a great opportunity to showcase your skills in customer service and administrative support. The role is fully in-person and requires a proactive individual who thrives in a small office environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide accurate and timely updates on customer orders and tracking details.
• Process and manage sample requests, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Create and maintain Purchase Orders and Sales Orders using QuickBooks.
• Obtain and provide freight quotes, coordinating pickups with carriers as needed.
• Scan, organize, and file essential documentation.
• Maintain and update customer records within company systems, including Voze.
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions by generating invoices and following up on overdue accounts.
• Enter and track vendor bills with accuracy.
• Handle customer credit applications, including conducting credit checks and verifying references. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or order entry setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities independently.
• Comfortable working fully in-person within a small office environment.
• Adaptable to new responsibilities and systems as needed.
