Big Post is a fun and fast-growing business, conveniently located in Notting Hill in South-EastMelbourne. We provide an exceptional freight booking platform to Australian retailers, enablingourcustomers to ship their online sales from city to city, state to state and everywhere else inbetween.

The RoleAs part of the wider Customer Service Team, the primary aim of this role is to resolve inboundcustomer enquiries via telephone and email. We are looking for people who love helping others byfinding solutions and sharing information.
A normal day in our Contact Centre will see you:
- Helping our customers to understand 'general freight' and how freight moves through thenetwork
- Assisting our customers to resolve their enquiries by liasing with our carriers and usingyourpowers of deduction to locate freight and solve issues like rebooking or redirecting a job
- Putting to good use that knack you have for turning a tricky situation into a favourableexperience for our customers
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
- High level of literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to providing a high level of customer service
- A willingness to be hands on, with a "can do" attitude
- Time management skills (ability to prioritise)
- Reliability and punctuality
Experience working within the transport/freight industry will be an advantage but is notessential.
To be eligible to apply, you must have Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanentresidencystatus.
Supported by the Customer Service Team Leader and Customer Service Manager, you will be providedwith all the necessary training and resources to settle into this role. You'll be challenged andsupported within our business, enjoying every-day interactions with our dynamic teams in a trulymodern environment.
