Job Description:

The Customer Service Agent for a healthcare account is responsible for providing timely, accurate, and compassionate support to patients and healthcare members. This role handles inbound calls and/or digital inquiries related to healthcare services, benefits, billing, and general account concerns while ensuring compliance with healthcare privacy and quality standards.



Key Responsibilities:

Handle inbound calls, emails, or chats from patients or healthcare members

Assist with general inquiries such as benefits coverage, eligibility, billing, and basic claims concerns

Provide clear and accurate information about healthcare services and procedures

Update and maintain patient or member records in the system

Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary

Follow HIPAA and data privacy guidelines at all times

Meet performance metrics for quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
