Plays a critical role in building customer relationships and representing the organization. Responsible for interacting closely with the customer, accurate processing of customer orders, confirming inventory availability, shipping and delivery information, verifying pricing, routes, and freight terms, processing order acknowledgments and offering prompt and efficient follow up. Initiate and respond to telephone calls in regards to expediting orders, pricing and lead-time information. Maintain pricing in ERP system as well as organized off line documents. Reference internal procedure “guidelines for pricing maintenance”. If the delivery date to the customer needs to be changed due to internal constraints, work with internal personal to develop the best solution to the customer and then contact the customer to provide the solution.
