Customs Clearance Operator

Position: CUSTOMS CLEARANCE OPERATOR

Location: Dover

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Salary Range: £25,000 to £30,000 (Depending on Experience) 

About the position:

The purpose of the Customs Clearance Operator is to action all Customs clearances at the Dover site.  You will be responsible for calculating and processing customs clearances including duties and taxes to be paid. You will be required to enter details onto specialised customs software which may include CDS, CNS, Destin8 and CFSP, Pentant and ASM Sequioa.  You will be responsible for issuing the correct documents on behalf of the customer to ensure that customs are cleared in a timely and efficient manner allowing shipments to continue on their journey.
