Customs Clearance Supervisor

Overview

Role involving customs clearance management within transportation, logistics or import/export, with emphasis on ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy, and strong relationship skills to network across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full customs clearance process for both imports and exports, ensuring shipments are processed quickly and meet all rules.
• Work with customs officers to resolve issues, negotiate on duties, and ensure smooth clearance of shipments.
• Keep track of shipments to ensure they move through customs, quarantine, and other checks without delays.
• Ensure the clearance process meets all legal and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and manage all customs paperwork, duties, and taxes accurately and on time.
