Job Description

SUMMARY

Primary duty is to set up and release shipments imported into Canada across various modes of transportation containing a wide variety of commodities, paying close attention to the rules and regulations as set out by CBSA in the Customs Act.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and release of assigned account shipments

  • Processing of highly complex shipments, with various Participating Government Agency requirements

  • Track and trace incoming shipments and communicating with clients as required

  • Support other customs team members with various customs processes

  • Provide final accounting to CBSA for a set list of assigned accounts

  • Arranging for payments of invoices to steamship lines, warehouses, government agencies
