CVOR Tech in La Mesa, NM

An opportunity is available for an experienced CVOR Scrub Tech to provide specialized nursing support in a cardiovascular operating room setting. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment with day shifts focused on delivering patient care and assisting during cardiovascular surgeries.

Location: La Mesa, NM

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• On-call rotation required to provide 24/7 unit coverage shared among nursing staff

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and operating room staff during cardiovascular procedures
• Prepare and maintain operating room equipment and supplies
• Float to the general OR when cardiovascular cases are not scheduled
• Participate in call rotation to ensure continuous patient care coverage

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of CVOR Scrub Tech experience
• BLS and AED certification required
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Ability to effectively function in a fast-paced surgical environment
