Job Description
We are looking for a CVT mechanical project engineer in product development. Reporting to the CVT manager, your main responsibility will be to support the design and calibration of our ORV product line by developing and validating CVT mechanical power transmission systems. In addition, the role will involve developing and measuring performance criteria and reducing the carbon footprint of our recreational vehicles.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Participate in the development of the mechanical architecture of vehicle CVT components.
Be responsible for the implementation of 4-stroke engine CVT transmission projects.
Develop transmission system settings with the aim of optimizing emissions, fuel economy, performance, and driving quality, while taking into account project constraints (cost, integration, etc.).
Coordinate and participate in optimization tests on roller dynamometers, engine dynamometers...
