Job Description
CGS is looking for an experienced, implementation focused, self-motivated Program Manager with Cyber Security background ( a must ) to drive key customer project to successful completion.
As a Program Manager, you will act as a point of liaison between CGS Cyber Security Consulting services and customers around the world in the successful implementation of cyber security projects under CGS Umbrella of cyber security services.
Familiarity with basic concepts of Incident Response, Security Operations, Application Security, Risk Management, Compliance (PCI, SOC2 Type ll, ISO-27) and genuine interest in security events around the world with understanding of how they might impact our customers.
Delivery of a diverse range of projects from supporting external and diverse customers’ requests to responding to RFIs, coordinating between multiple teams, and managing stakeholders Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects Single point of contact for projects like: RFIs, external vendors to align customer requirements with appropriate cyber security technology stack. Independently plan and manage select key projects to completion – these will typically be projects which are highly cross-functional or sensitive. Identifying and resolving complex problems/issues related to people, processes, and technology and strategy, both internally (organizational) and externally (client/engagement/project) Prepare project status reports and conduct meetings regularly on progress, risks, issues, and recommended solutions Support period and ad hoc compliance and audit reviews Decide on suitable strategies and objectives Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities Apply changes, risks and resources management
What you’ll Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent professional experience
8 years of experience working as a Project Manager, having cyber security background or handling cyber security projects. Strong understanding of international Information Security standards/compliances (e.g. ISO27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, FEDRAM, SOX, SOC2 Type l, ll and lll) Holding project management certificates such as Project Management Professional (PMP) and Scrum certificate The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and balance conflicting demands Comfortable analyzing operational and technical data, working under pressure and meeting deadlines Independent self-starter, problem-solving mindset, team player and ability to multi-task Strong communication, including presentation skills, able to convey complex concepts to a variety of audiences Strong project management skillsThe flexibility to make quick decisions as disasters change and develop
(CISA, CRISC, ITIL to name a few) Experience leading global projects across different locations
