Overview
Hyber is partnering with a leading global cyber security vendor that is expanding its team locally in Australia. The team is looking for a Security Analyst (SOC & IR Advisor) to serve as the subject‑matter expert for customers on the latest SOC and IR best practices.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and collaborate with the internal SOC team to analyze the latest threat trends and developments.
- Act as the primary customer interface, translating SOC insights into actionable security recommendations.
- Ensure customers’ environments remain secure by leveraging SOC analysis and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Experience working in a SOC function, with knowledge of SOC and incident‑response methods and procedures.
- Prior experience working in Australia is important.
- Good communication skills and ability to explain technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
Compensation
Base pay range: A$140,000 – A$160,000 per year. Benefits: super, bonus, and expenses.
