Job Description
Cyber Security Engineer (location: Herndon, VA)
+ TS/SCI with adjudicated CI poly required prior to start
+ Must have DoD 8570/8140 approved certification such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CISSP, or equivalent
+ Identify vulnerabilities and provide analysis, guidance, and remediation requirements.
+ Provide Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) hardening guidance.
+ Complete daily system audit analysis and log reviews.
+ Basic knowledge of or hands on experience with:
• Performing Cybersecurity activities in support of software and system requirements, design, development, testing, and sustainment.
• Secure Configuration/Hardening of Department of Defense (DoD) information systems.
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and cloud technologies.
