Candidate Responsibilities

The Cyber Security Specialist (GRC) is responsible for managing and improving customer’s security governance, risk management and compliance framework. This role ensures adherence to Defense security regulatory requirements, develop security policies meeting business objectives, conducts regular risk assessments and implement controls to protect customer’s digital assets.
 

Critical responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and frameworks as per regulatory requirements.

  • Perform regular security audits

  • Identify cyber security risks and implement security controls.

  • Vulnerability Management and Threat Detection

  • Security Event log monitoring

  • Develop and maintain Cyber Security Assessment and Authorization (Accreditation) documentation suite.

  • Assess security control effectiveness.

  • Knowledge & Skill requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in cyber security / information technology OR related experience.

  • 5+ years’ experience in Cyber security risk management / policy development/ governance.

  • Strong knowledge of security audit, documentation development, vulnerability management and security event monitoring.

  • Industry certifications like CISA, ISO Lead Implementer / auditor or similar are desirable

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to details
