A leading Federal Government agency is seeking MULTIPLE Lead Cyber Security Specialists to join a high-performing team. This critical role will support the assessment and improvement of cyber resilience across Australia’s critical infrastructure, contributing to the protection of national interests.

The successful Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Perform cyber security assessments of complex IT and OT systems
• Assess the effectiveness of security controls
• Provide actionable advice to improve cyber resilience
• Verify cyber security posture through technical tooling, document review, and stakeholder workshops
• Participate in risk governance processes and provide technical risk input

The successful Cyber Security Specialist must have experience in the following:

• Minimum 3–5 years in a cyber security role
• Strong understanding of industry methods for IT security assessment, monitoring, detection, and remediation
• Broad knowledge of operational technology systems and applicable cyber security controls
• Knowledge of cyber security and privacy principles, threats, and vulnerabilities
• Risk assessment experience
