Job Description

What success looks like in this role:

  • Oversee end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle, including scanning, assessment, prioritization, and remediation tracking.
  • Perform vulnerability analysis using tools such as Tenable, Qualys, or similar platforms.
  • Validate vulnerabilities, classify false positives, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT, application, and infrastructure teams to coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for leadership visibility on vulnerability posture.
  • Define risk-based prioritization strategies aligned with business impact and threat intelligence.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and assist in process improvement initiatives.
  • Support audits and provide evidence for vulnerability management controls.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats, CVEs, and vulnerability trends.

    • You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4–6 years of experience in vulnerability management or related cybersecurity roles.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7).
  • Strong understanding of CVSS scoring, patch management, and risk prioritization.
  • Familiarity with cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+, or vendor-specific certifications).
