Cybersecurity Program Manager

ARES is hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Program Manager to support a critical Department of Defense cybersecurity program overseeing assessment and authorization support for tactical systems. This leadership position involves the management and oversight of key cybersecurity compliance functions including risk management, cybersecurity program assessments, independent security controls validation, vulnerability assessment methodology verification, software assurance, and training.

This position is located in the Northern Virginia area.
This position is contingent upon contract award and is estimated to start in February 2026. 

Requirements:

Minimum of 8 years of experience managing programs in a DoD environment, preferably the Department of the Navy or Missile Defense Agency.

Capable of providing leadership, direction, and management of a complex DoD contract with over 75 personnel.
