The Role
D365 Application Consultant will be involved in delivering service support to customers in line with their contracted deliverables. you will be providing onsite and remote IT support to our Managed Application Services Customers. This will include Investigation of issues, providing estimates, requirements gathering, writing technical documentation, developing components, peer reviewing code and contributing to the Intellectual Property library.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist the MAS team, Service Delivery Manager and Account Manager to ensure that contractual deliverables are met.
- Obtain and maintain industry certification
- Assist in the education, support, and guidance of the client throughout the process, to ensure that our client’s needs are met, and that they are as satisfied with their overall experience as they are with the eventual outcome.
- Ensure that the backlog remains up to date and accurately reflects the requirements of the client.
- Help develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with the client, ensuring that they are actively engaged throughout.
- Ensure that the client’s motivations and priorities are clearly understood and reflected to the team
- Ensure that the delivered functionality accurately meets the client’s requirements and is of a suitably high quality.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users, or alternative, to ensure a successful roll-out of the delivered functionality.
- Ensure Utilization hour targets are met.
- Ensure all work performed is of a high technical and quality standard & strive for high client satisfaction scores
Key Competencies and Qualifications required
- 4–5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CRM/CE (configuration, customization, troubleshooting, enhancements).
- 4+ years of experience with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
- Strong experience supporting and maintaining D365 environments, analyzing issues, and delivering sustainable fixes.
- Proven ability to manage change requests and enhancement work across multiple customers.
- Solid business analysis skills -able to clarify requirements, assess impact, and translate needs into practical solutions.
- Proficiency in C#/.NET plugin development, custom workflow assemblies, and debugging (Plugin Profiler).
- Strong skills in JavaScript, jQuery, and D365 form/UX customizations.
- Experience with Power Pages (Liquid, JavaScript, Web APIs, portal configuration & security).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, especially in troubleshooting scenarios.
- Relevant Microsoft Certifications will be a plus.
