D365 operational reporting business data analyst [f&o, powerbi, financial reporting, rtr, ar]

Hiring: D365 Operational Reporting Business Data Analyst (Remote)
We are looking for an experienced D365 Operational Reporting Business Data Analyst to join our team for a remote engagement. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience and be available to join immediately or on short notice.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prioritize and manage the backlog of D365 Operational Reports
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, refine user stories, and define acceptance criteria
- Maintain and track reporting work items in Azure Dev Ops with accurate status and timelines
- Create Functional Design Documents (FDDs) for D365 extensions supporting operational reporting
- Develop Power BI reports using D365 Finance & Operations and/or Data Lake tables
- Design and enhance D365 Operational Reports (SSRS, list views)
- Contribute to QA test planning, execute testing, and support defect triage
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of overall experience, with strong hands-on exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- In-depth knowledge of D365 FO data tables and entities across:
- Supply Chain
- Procure-to-Pay (P2 P)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Record-to-Report (R2 R)
- Strong experience with Operational Reporting in D365 (SSRS reports, list views)
- Proven expertise in Power BI report development using D365 FO / Data Lake
- Experience working with Azure Dev Ops for backlog management and tracking
- Strong stakeholder management and business-facing communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem
