Position: RCM Data Analyst

Location: Remote

Starting Date: Immediate


Gabeo.Ai is a Bay Area–based healthcare technology company building AI-driven infrastructure for U.S. healthcare payments, claims, and revenue cycle automation. We’re hiring a Data Analyst with strong healthcare claims and RCM reporting experience to work hands-on with 835 remittances, 837 claims, and revenue cycle analytics.

What You’ll Do


Claims & RCM Analysis


  • Analyze 835 remittance files (payments, adjustments, CARC/RARC, balances)
  • Analyze 837P / 837I claims data (professional & institutional)
  • Reconcile claims vs payments to identify:
  • underpayments / overpayments
  • denials, write-offs, adjustment drivers
  • posting and timing issues
  • Support root-cause analysis for RCM performance and payment integrity


Reporting & Dashboards (Power BI)


  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for:
  • billed vs allowed vs paid
  • denial and adjustment trends
  • recovery and leakage metrics
  • Create executive-ready, repeatable reporting for finance and RCM teams
  • Translate complex claims data into clear, actionable insights


Required Skills & Experience


  • 3+ years as a Healthcare Data Analyst / RCM Analyst
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • 835 remittance files
  • 837P / 837I claims
  • Strong understanding of:
  • claim adjustments, denials, write-offs
  • CARC / RARC logic
  • end-to-end revenue cycle workflows
  • Python for data analysis and automation
  • Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboarding)
  • Strong Excel skills;
    SQL is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with real-world healthcare data
