Data Analyst I


Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Data Analyst for a contract position in Marlborough, MA. The opportunity will be for two months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.



Position Summary:
This is a great opportunity to work on the Global Quality Distribution Product Controls team, which is part of the client's Quality Systems group. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues and improving processes and systems used to manage distribution controls within our ERP system (SAP) to ensure all products have the right certifications before shipping. The role will be hybrid, allowing flexibility to work from home days a week with the expectation that you will be onsite in the Marlborough office days a week.



Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Completing data entry to SAP to manage distribution controls information.
  • Investigating and resolving inconsistencies in data using standard problem-solving tools.
  • Investigating and correcting issues by combining data from several sources for analysis.
  • Keeping records of tasks and files. Checking completed work for errors or duplicate information before submitting the final product.
  • Supporting the implementation of SAP system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Communicating technical information to others in ways that can be understood by laypersons.
  • Supporting peers by investigating concerns, addressing questions, and providing guidance.
  • May design/rework processes to enhance workflow.
  • May assist professional and technical staff with special projects.
  • Coordinate, organize, and/or lead administrative tasks in support of the functional area.
  • Delivering work within the estimated time frame
  • In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.


  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • - years of experience with SAP or a similar ERP system. (JD Edwards, Oracle, etc.)
  • - years of experience in a regulated industry required (Medical Device or Pharmaceutical preferred)
  • Experience using standard problem-solving tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.). Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel


  • Preferred:
  • Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Experience in a Supply Chain or Distribution Centre role.
