Data Analyst – Platform Services and Leading Performance

Location: Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina

The Chevron Business Support Center (BASSC) in Buenos Aires is accepting applications for this role. As a key member of the Financial Operations (FinOps) team, you will support financial operations, vendor governance, and performance analytics, working closely with Supply Chain Management, Service Management Office, Leading Performance Finance Analyst, and Contracts Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor financial performance, contract compliance, and vendor metrics.
• Analyze large datasets from SMART GEP, Target Process, and other enterprise systems to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including variance analysis and performance scorecards.
• Partner with Finance Analyst and Contracts Analyst to align insights with forecasting, budgeting, and contract data integrity.
• Serve as a data liaison between ITOF, Chevron Finance, and SMO.
• Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and automate recurring reporting tasks.
• Contribute to standardized data models and templates for financial and contract analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Support contract governance processes by providing data validation and performance metrics.
