---The Lemon Lab is a sensory neurobiology laboratory that is internationally recognized for research on the neuroscience of taste, thermosensation, and pain-related phenomena. The goal of our research is to contribute to a complete understanding of how sensory information is processed by the nervous system and how sensory neural messages engage emotional reactions and responses. This concept has basic neuroscience and health related implications for advancing understanding of mental health and well-being. We pursue our goal through studies in animal models using neurophysiology, molecular tools, genetics, behavior, computation, and experimental hardware development.
The Lab seeks to hire a motivated and independent data analyst to assist with development of machine learning analyses of animal behavior in neuroscience studies and hardware/electronics development related to data acquisition.
