Data & Analytics Practice Head
Tier-1 IT Services Organization
Role Overview
We are currently hiring for a highly critical leadership position—Data & Analytics (D&A) Practice Head—for a Tier-1 IT Services organization. This role will own the strategic, commercial, and delivery leadership of the Data & Analytics practice globally and will be responsible for driving sustained growth, profitability, and innovation at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale a large, global Data & Analytics practice, covering data engineering, advanced analytics, AI/ML, cloud data platforms, and industry solutions.
- Own and manage a USD 100 M+ portfolio, with full P&L accountability, including revenue growth, margin expansion, and cost optimization.
- Provide strategic direction for practice creation, capability development, solution strategy, and GTM execution across key industry verticals.
- Build, lead, and inspire large global teams of 1,000+ professionals, including senior leaders, delivery heads, and practice specialists.
- Drive large, end-to-end global programs, ensuring excellence in delivery, client satisfaction, and operational governance.
- Establish and nurture CXO-level client relationships and strategic partnerships to support long-term growth and account expansion.
- Lead organization design, leadership development, succession planning, and cultural transformation to build future-ready teams.
- Work closely with sales, consulting, and delivery leaders to align strategy, execution, and outcomes across global markets.
Candidate Profile
- 25+ years of overall experience, with 8+ years in senior leadership roles within Data & Analytics in a large Tier-1 IT services organization.
- Proven experience in leading and scaling D&A practices at global scale, including data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, and cloud ecosystems.
- Demonstrated ownership of USD 100 M+ P&L and experience managing large global teams (1,000+ employees).
- Strong track record of building new verticals, driving growth in emerging markets, and executing complex, high-visibility strategic initiatives.
- Extensive experience in global delivery models, extended teams, partner ecosystems, and vendor management.
- Ability to blend strategic vision with pragmatic execution, using fact-based decision making and rational risk-taking.
- Exposure across industries such as BFSI, Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Logistics, and Risk & Compliance is highly preferred.
