ROLE PURPOSE
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Architect-AI/ML with 10-15 years of experience to join our growing team. You will work with large payment datasets to uncover actionable insights, build predictive models, and contribute to strategic decision-making across various departments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and programming skills, a solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be helping the strategic initiatives which feed insights to Pine Labs merchants, partners and internal consumers.
THE RESPONSIBILTIES WE ENTRUST YOU WITH.
Analyze and interpret complex financial data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, regression, etc. Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define data science requirements and deliver impactful results.
Clean, preprocess, and transform data to ensure quality and consistency. Use data visualization techniques to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of data pipelines and workflows.
Monitor and evaluate model performance, ensuring accuracy and reliability over time.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.
WHAT MATTERS IN THIS ROLE
Experience & Portfolio : 10-15 years of hands-on experience in artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, or related fields.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Technical Skills & Efficiency
Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis and model development.
Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering).
Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, Num Py, Sci Py).
Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms (DMR, Glue, Redshift).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, superset).
Experience working with large datasets and performing data cleaning and preprocessing.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with development tools (eg. Jupyter notebook, visual Basic code)
Experience with SQL databases.
Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, Py Torch).
Familiarity with data processing tools (e.g. , Spark).
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Communication & Ownership
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability: Comfortable with dynamic requirements and able to pivot recruitment strategies as needed.
