Data Architect (AWS & Snowflake)

- Design and own end-to-end data architecture leveraging AWS cloud services and Snowflake as the enterprise data platform
- Define logical and physical data models to support analytics, reporting, and downstream applications
- Architect data ingestion pipelines from on-prem and cloud sources using batch and near-real-time patterns
- Establish standards for data storage, partitioning, clustering, and performance optimization in Snowflake
- Design secure, scalable AWS-based data solutions using services such as S3, IAM, Glue, Lambda, EC2, and networking components
- Partner with data engineering teams to guide ETL/ELT architecture and tool selection (e.g., dbt, Glue, Informatica, etc.)
- Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives from legacy platforms to AWS/Snowflake
- Produce architecture diagrams, design documents, and implementation guidelines
