This role is for a seasoned Data Architect who can interpret business needs and translate them into robust, scalable, and compliant data architectures. You will play a critical role in shaping the enterprise data landscape by solving complex functional, technical, and architectural challenges. Acting as a bridge between business and technology teams, you will provide clarity on data-related issues, guide architectural decisions, and present well-reasoned solutions that align with business strategy. You will be responsible for governing the logical and physical data architecture across the data lifecycle, ensuring data solutions meet security standards, regulatory expectations, and end-of-life policies while embedding strong data practices into enterprise deliveries.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Define, govern, and evolve logical and physical data architectures aligned with business objectives
• Act as a guardian of the enterprise data landscape, ensuring consistency, integrity, and compliance across the data lifecycle
• Design and maintain data product models, data models, and supporting data capabilities
• Provide architectural guidance on data governance, data quality, metadata management, and data issue management
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather context, explain data challenges, and recommend optimal solutions
• Ensure data architectures comply with security standards, regulatory requirements, and enterprise policies
• Design and review data warehouse and data platform architectures using modern cloud and analytics patterns
• Provide hands-on guidance and reviews for data models, architecture artefacts, and implementation designs
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to building strong architectural and data engineering practices
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams while managing priorities and meeting tight delivery timelines

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Strong expertise in data architecture, data warehousing, and enterprise data modeling techniques
• Proven experience in application architecture, having played an architect role across multiple initiatives
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality management, data risk, and issue management practices
• Hands-on experience designing data product models and enabling data capabilities across platforms
• Practical experience with cloud-based data architectures, particularly AWS and Snowflake
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders
• Ability to simplify and explain complex, abstract data and architecture concepts to varied audiences
• Demonstrated experience mentoring junior team members and reviewing technical artefacts
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
• A structured, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and execution
