Structured Data Cabling Engineer

  • Guildford
  • SC Cleared (or ability to obtain)

Skills and Experience

  • Install terminate and test Cat5e Cat6 Cat6a in various environments
  • Conduct site surveys to assess cabling requirements for monitoring systems
  • Install cable containment systems including conduits, trunking, cable trays and baskets
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure that installations are completed within the project timelines
  • Test and troubleshoot cable systems to ensure proper functioning of connected devices.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in structured cabling systems
  • Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and best practices
