Data Center Controls Engineer

Design, program, and commission control sequences for new critical data center infrastructure.

Optimize the efficiency and performance of existing Building Management Systems (BMS).

Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including sequence of operations (SOOs) and schematics.

Collaborate with data center operations and engineering teams on system improvements and upgrades.

Provide expert technical support for troubleshooting complex control system issues and alarms.

Manage and execute projects related to BMS/SCADA implementation, retrofits, and integration.

Ensure all control systems adhere strictly to industry standards and company operational procedures.

Configure and manage power monitoring, Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools, and alarming.

Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for control-related incidents, ensuring high system reliability.

Develop or improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for control system testing and maintenance.

Participate in commissioning and Integrated System Testing (IST) of new mechanical and electrical systems.

Train site operations personnel on new control strategies and effective system interaction.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field is required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience focused on control systems within critical environments (data centers).

Deep proficiency with major PLC/DDC platforms (., Schneider Electric, Siemens, Rockwell Automation).

Strong knowledge of network protocols and system integration for data acquisition and control.
