Data Center Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Data Center Design Engineer to oversee new common system and infrastructure of installation / capacity augment projects. The candidate would be responsible for monthly common system capacity reporting for assigned facilities and day to day maintenance and PMs of assigned FirstLight facilities. This role has combined responsibility for data center process and compliance activities. The expectation is that the Data Center/Facilities engineer would oversee common systems, operations and maintenance of FirstLight facilities. They will coordinate projects with the Facilities Director, department managers and project managers. The duties listed require strict adherence to budgets and formal bid process.

The main job function along with the facilities engineer responsibilities is to take a data center expansion project - designing, costing and construction of the new space.
