Data Center Engineer

Job Description:Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting server hardware and related infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux servers, RAID configurations, and data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers

Configure and manage RAID levels (RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10) to ensure data performance and redundancy

Perform hardware replacement for servers, including disks, memory, power supplies, and other components

Execute server mounting and unmounting in racks following data center standards

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues to minimize downtime

Coordinate with system administrators and network teams for smooth server operations

Ensure proper documentation of hardware changes and maintenance activities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Hardware Engineer or similar role

Strong knowledge of server hardware and Linux operating systemsHands-on experience with RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10

Experience with rack mounting and unmounting servers

Ability to perform server hardware replacements efficiently
