Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain data governance framework, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define approach to data ownership, stewardship, and accountability.
• Establish and oversee data classification, data lineage, and metadata management processes.
• Work with IT, analytics, business teams to support data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for data governance maturity and effectiveness.
• May conduct training and awareness sessions to promote data governance best practices.
• Advise on data-related initiatives, including data integration, master data management, and data platform design.
• Identify and support mitigation of risks arising from data usage and management.
• Provide guidance on data governance technology tools and platforms (Collibra, Informatica, Alation etc)."
