Role Overview

We are looking for a Fabric Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize end-to-end data solutions on Microsoft Fabric. You will play a key role in developing scalable data pipelines, enabling analytics and AI use cases, and helping clients transition to a modern, unified data platform.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across data engineering, analytics, and cloud platforms while staying hands-on with cutting-edge Microsoft technologies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain data solutions using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Pipelines, Notebooks)
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric Data Pipelines, Spark, and SQL
  • Implement scalable data models for analytics and reporting
  • Integrate data from diverse sources (APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, streaming sources)
  • Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of Fabric workloads
  • Collaborate with analytics engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders
  • Apply data governance, security, and best practices within Fabric and Azure
  • Support Power BI semantic models and reporting use cases
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and client-facing technical discussions


Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience as a Data Engineer
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (or strong experience with Azure Synapse / Data Factory and a desire to specialize in Fabric)
  • Proficiency in SQL and PySpark
  • Experience with data lake and lakehouse architectures
  • Familiarity with Power BI and semantic modeling concepts
  • Experience working in Azure environments
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and performance optimization


Nice to Have
  • Microsoft certifications (Fabric, Azure Data Engineer, Power BI)
  • Experience with real-time or streaming data
  • Exposure to AI / ML workloads integrated with data platforms
  • Consulting or client-facing experience
