Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable data infrastructure that supports research, machine learning and advanced analytics initiatives. This role plays a critical part in enabling reliable, high-performance data systems for data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data engineering, experience working with large datasets and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage scalable ETL pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Develop and optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing systems
• Automate data ingestion from APIs, external data providers, and internal systems
• Ensure data quality through validation, monitoring, and version control mechanisms
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers and researchers to deliver clean, well-documented, and queryable datasets
• Optimize performance and reliability of data infrastructure for analytics and experimentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining production data pipelines
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with data processing frameworks such as Airflow, Spark, or Flink
• Familiarity with cloud storage and data lake technologies (e.g., S3, Delta, Iceberg)
• Experience with financial or time-series data is an advantage
• Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
