We are looking for someone to join our IT area who is passionate about helping the organization understand and unlock the true value of data , acting as a technical reference and strategic partner for the business.

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines, leading the evolution of the data architecture, and acting as a technical leader , actively contributing to the technical strategy of the data area.

This role is key within a data-centric organization , with a strong focus on quality , continuous improvement, and real business impact. We are looking for curious, proactive professionals with critical thinking — people who challenge, propose, and raise the technical bar of the team.

The role operates within agile methodologies , applying Agile principles to improve efficiency, collaboration, and delivery outcomes.

What you’ll do
  • Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines on Azure
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance
  • Design analytics-ready models for Power BI
  • Act as a technical reference , mentoring others and defining best practices
  • Apply Agile principles to improve delivery and outcomes
Technical requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and analytical data modeling.
  • Strong experience with dbt and Databricks / Spark
  • Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
  • Solid knowledge of Power BI .
  • Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
  • Knowledge of modern data architectures.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, etc.)
Nice to have
  • Experience integrating Power BI with dbt models .
  • Knowledge of CI/CD for data platforms and Power BI .
  • Experience with RLS, data governance, and access control .
  • Understanding of Power BI Service capacity and performance metrics
