Senior Data Engineer (Cloud & Snowflake)
Location: Chennai
Exp Range: 6 to 9 Years
Roles & Responsibilities:
Knowledge of operationalizing any Big Data solutions involving S3, EKS, EC2 and IAM
Performance tuning experience with different types of data stores both structured and unstructured
Strong SQL hands-on-experience with good database/data warehouse knowledge
Knowledge of programming languages/tools : Python, DBT.
Ability to develop ELT/ETL pipelines to move data to and from Snowflake data store using combination of Python and Snowflake SnowSQL.
Knowledge and expertise of data modelling techniques and best practices (Relational, Dimensional), plus any prior experience with data modelling tools (eg. PowerDesigner).
Prior experience with Data ingestion tool sets (e.g Apache NiFi, Kafka) is advantageous.
