Job Description

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Data Governance, data catalog, and data stewardship
  • Deep understanding of data governance capabilities including data catalog, data dictionary, business lineage, technical lineage and stewardship workflows
  • Hands-on experience with configuration and maintenance of catalog tool . Alation (MUST HAVE)
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as SQL, HTML, Java, Python and others
  • Hands-on experience with on-boarding metadata from various sources including SQL Server, Oracle, Azure cloud and others
  • Understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure (preferable), google, AWS and snowflake
  • Understanding of ETL technologies such as Mulesoft, ADF, talend, SSIS
  • Familiar with data quality practices and its integration with data catalog
  • Comfortable working independently and with other teams/vendors to resolve issues
