Data Engineer - Data Governance

Job Description

4+ years of experience working in Data Governance or Data Management experience within a global CPG (Consumer Packaged Good) company or similar industry, general understanding of data governance concepts and processes Strong data management background who understands data, how to ingest data, proper data use/consumption, data quality, data curation and stewardship.
Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures are defined and implemented.
Informatica (EDC, Axon, IDQ, Reference , collibra, Alation, or any data governance tools), Intermediate – Advanced Excel experience preferred
Basic SQL knowledge and experience working with Visualization BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc).
Good to have Databricks
Advanced data analytical skills, including identification, interpretation, and documentation of data patterns, standards, and quality rules
Strong communication skills and Excel proficiency, including experience profiling with Excel
Experience researching, validating, profiling, and cataloging datasets
