Job Role: Data Engineer (4+ Years)

Location: Bangalore

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with 4+ years of experience to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role focuses on ingesting, transforming, and managing high-quality data in BigQuery to support analytics and data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop reliable ETL/ELT data pipelines into BigQuery

  • Ensure data quality, validation, and monitoring

  • Optimize BigQuery queries, performance, and cost (partitioning, clustering)

  • Collaborate with analytics and business teams on data models

  • Automate workflows using GCP services (Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Composer)

  • Troubleshoot pipeline and BigQuery issues

Important Skills & Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer

  • Strong GCP experience, especially BigQuery

  • Advanced SQL and Python

  • Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines

  • Knowledge of data warehousing & data lake architectures

  • Hands-on with Apache Pinot and Elasticsearch

  • Data quality checks and validation techniques

  • Familiarity with Git and version control

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
