About the Role

TechnoMile is seeking a Data Engineer to architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure seamless data collection, transformation, and storage. Your expertise will be essential in upholding data quality, consistency, and governance across our evolving data ecosystem. 

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for processing large volumes of data.
  • Build and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and databases to support our analytical needs.
  • Data Quality & Governance:Ensured at a quality, consistency, and security through rigorous governance best practices for compliance and data integrity.
  • Collaboration & Innovation:Partnerwithdatascientistsandanalyststodrivedata-drivendecision--timedatastreamingsolutionstosupportdynamicbusinessrequirements.
  • System Optimization & Monitoring:Automate data workflows and optimize system performance .Monitorandtroubleshootdatainfrastructuretoensurescalabilityandreliability.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’sorMaster’sdegreeinComputerScience,DataEngineering,orarelatedfield.
  • 4-5 years of overall experience in a similar Data Engineering role 
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g.,GraphhDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Strong experience with big data tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Airflow).
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)and related data services (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java for data engineering tasks.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and pipeline architecture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with real-time data processing frameworks(e.g., Apache Flink, Apache Beam)preferred.
  • Knowledge of machine learning pipeline integration
  • Understanding of data security and compliance regulations (e.g.,Fedramp)preferred.
