Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and lead the delivery of high-quality data solutions for the Mobility & Convenience domain. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with leadership experience, ensuring that agile squads deliver scalable, reliable, and value-driven data products aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Scope and prioritize business use cases and data requirements for the Mobility & Convenience business unit.
• Lead and manage cross-functional agile squads consisting of data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and data managers to deliver high-quality data products on time and within budget.
• Drive a collaborative and inclusive team environment, fostering strong engagement with product owners, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multiple business entities to understand use cases, value cases, and data needs.
• Provide technical guidance, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks for the data delivery teams.
• Conduct and lead daily data ingestion status calls, ensuring clarity on new data requirements and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Scope, review, and deliver low-level data requirements, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
• Ensure use cases, acceptance criteria, KPIs, and definition of done are clearly defined and in line with the Mobility & Convenience data strategy.
• Oversee delivery tracking, progress reporting, and KPI management.
• Perform hands-on data analysis, modeling, and data management to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Ensure end-to-end data integration, seamless data flow, and efficient system maintenance.
• Validate that data models are fit-for-purpose and data standards are followed across the lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to collaborate with internal and external partners for data innovation.
• Manage and build strong stakeholder relationships to align expectations and drive business outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience leading or delivering data-driven solutions in agile environments.
• Hands-on experience in data engineering and data analytics, including data visualization.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-centric and value-focused mindset with a balance of execution speed and attention to detail.
• Excellent understanding of data management, data governance, and data lifecycle processes.
• Deep knowledge of data modeling, data standards, and data processes.
• Proven experience in delivering data products on cloud platforms such as Databricks, Azure, or AWS.
• Strong technical skills in SQL and Python for data transformation and manipulation.
• Experience or certification in Agile or Scrum methodologies preferred.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical work into business value.
