The Team

The Business Intelligence and Analytics team’s purpose is to enhance business decision-making by providing critical insights across all sectors (Management, Finance, Sales, Risk, etc.) through data gathered from both internal and external sources. The team comprises highly skilled data and software engineers who leverage AI-driven technologies to optimize data processing, analysis, and automation.

Using cloud technologies, they build robust ETL pipelines that aggregate data from various sources, transforming and loading it into Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Big Data platforms, and SQL databases. Additionally, AI-powered computation jobs are used to process and analyze data more efficiently, enabling smarter application consumption of data visualizations and predictive analytics for informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement solutions required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Azure technologies.
  • Integrate AI-driven analytics tools into the data pipeline to enhance data processing, automate data cleansing, and generate predictive insights for improved business decision-making.
  • Leverage machine learning algorithms to optimize ETL processes, improve data accuracy, and develop intelligent models for real-time data analysis and visualization.
  • Design, develop and maintain new and existing data and ETL pipelines.
  • Perform tasks in an efficient & timely manner.
  • Create optimal data pipeline architecture and systems.
  • Continually advance technical knowledge and skills.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT related field.
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks for developing and deploying machine learning models to enhance data processing and analysis.
  • Proficiency in AI-powered data tools and platforms to automate data pipelines and improve data quality and insights.
  • Expertise on both Relational (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (Mongo, Impala, CouchDB, etc.) database systems.
  • Previous experience on Data Integration and ETL Tools, SSIS or other Cloud based tools (eg Azure Data Factory);
  • Data Visualization / Reporting tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
  • The ability to perform in a team environment and share knowledge.
  • Excellent analytical and good problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.

    • The following will be considered a plus:

  • Various Cloud Services (Azure, AWS).
  • Cloud Data Warehouses (Azure Data Warehouse) or Analytics Platforms (Databricks, Microsoft Fabric).
  • Streaming Platforms (both on premise or cloud, like Apache Kafka, Azure EventHub).
  • Programming skills (Python or any other language).
  • Demonstrable knowledge of agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git will be a plus.
  • AI and Machine Learning Modeling tools.
