Data Engineer
Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and launch efficient and reliable data pipelines for ingesting and transforming data 3rd party systems

  • Optimize data storage, schemas, and data migration approaches

  • Continually improve computational efficiency in analytical processing at scale

  • Own and maintain Schoolytics’ internal data infrastructure assets primarily hosted on Google Cloud

  • Design and deploy data products to serve end-users

  • Build data engineering tools and frameworks to enable common data processing patterns at scale 

  • Build back-end data services for internal applications

    • Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Scala for data processing

  • 3+ years of data or software engineering experience

  • Knowledge of data pipelining and workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow and Apache Beam
