Iris Software is looking to hire a Data Engineer/Architect for one of our direct banking clients in downtown Toronto .

JOB DETAILS

Job Title: Data Engineer / Architect

Duration: Open-ended SoW

Location: Toronto, ON (3-4 days onsite)

Must have

• Proficient with Advanced SQL, Python, and other data querying language
• Experience in working with Big Data Technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Elastic Search).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and functional programming.
• Strong data domain expertise in AML and the payment domain, especially in retail and commercial banking, capital markets, I&TS, wealth management, etc.
